Birdie Day!

I met up with another twosome at even Springs Golf and Country Club today at the par 72 Champion course. We teed off at 7:20 with the temperature at 75º.


I made a birdie on Hole #16. The first ball went 175 feet, the second went 130, and the 8 foot putt hovered over the hole before it dropped in. WOO HOO! A BIRDIE!


I also made three pars on Holes #1, #2, and #11.

A Birdie! What a Way to Go!

On my final round of golf with my South Florida buddies, I made a birdie on Hole #12! What a way to say good-bye to twenty years of golfing glee.


Of course, I'll continue to play in my new neighborhood, after I find some new friends. I'll sure miss these happy times, though.

I'm Glad I Had A Witness

We were fortunate enough to miss the torrential rains that South Florida received this afternoon. Temperature was 80º at tee off. I made one birdie at Hole #15. We finished by 10:15, and the rains came around 10:20.

Snowbirds and Birdies

Did you watch Tiger's comeback? I did. He birdied the 18th hole to win the tournament. He's one solid player.


Today, the price dropped from $37 to $25. I love it when the snowbirds fly home!






However, I do like birdies, and I made one today on the ninth hole!

At tee time, the temperature was 75º with a 15 mph wind. It was a beautiful day for golfing.

Still Another!

Today was another great day. The skies were a brilliant blue; temperature was a steady 75 degrees with very little wind.

I made another birdie! That's three straight weeks that I've shot a birdie! This one was on the 11th hole.



I also made pars on 4 holes: #8, #10, #12, and #13.

I made another Birdie today from hole #2 after. Here's a shot of the fairway.



I used a Volvik Crystal Golf Ball the entire game. I tell you, I don't want to lose that ball! I took this picture after I got home.

The temperature was 77 at tee off time (6:45) and it was a bit windy.

A Birdie!

I had a GREAT day of golf today. There wasn't much wind, but it was cold, even though it was sunny. The reason I said that it was a great day was even with the temperature at 52 degrees, I made a fifteen-foot-from-off-the-green birdie! Here's the hole.



The following hole, I made a par! I also made par on the 6th and 12th holes to make a total of 3 pars. That's pretty amazing for me!
