Speedy Gonzalez

When my buddies and I play golf, we move fast. If people behind us ever THINK that they're going to catch up, we pick up our pace. You want speedy players like us ahead on the course, because we've never made anyone wait.

Temperature at tee off was 69º, but by 10:00, it was 77º. The wind was a factor today at 15-20mph.

I only made two pars on Holes #2 and #5. Here's a shot of #2 with the color enhanced. I really don't like that enhancer. I'm not going to do that again.

Here's Hole #5 from the tee. The water hazard can be seen on the left. The flag is ahead, slightly to the right.

Chamber of Commerce Day

It was another Chamber of Commerce day with the temperature at 77º at tee time and no wind. I made four pars on Holes #4, #9, #13, and #15.

Here's a picture of #13 where I'm ready to take my third shot on a par 5. After this shot, I was 20 feet from the pin. I hit the ball and came within two feet of the hole to finish it off with a par.

Today, I missed a birdie by two inches!

I drove farther today than ever before--210 yards.

Great Day for Golf!

Today, I had eight pars! Holes #2, #3, #5, #8, #9, #11, #12, and #15.

There was a full moon this morning when we teed off. Here is a picture of Hole #2 from the white. This was a tough one to make par, and I was off to a good start.

I had 42 on the front nine!

Look at this blue sky--not a cloud to be seen! What a perfect day! Temperature was 78º when we were at this hole.

An Uncomfortable Day to Play

Although we had beautiful, bright, sunny, blue skies, the temperature at tee off was a chilly 52º. That, along with the 15-20 mph winds made for a miserable golfing day. I could not take off my jacket, and my game suffered for it.

However, I did make three pars: Hole #4, Hole #11, and Hole #15.

Here I am on the 18th Hole, happy because soon I will get out of this cold.
